Tesla Motors Model 3 Reservation Agreement Leaked

Tesla already published the Model 3 Reservation Agreement on their site, discovered thanks to snoopy Google.

On March 31, Tesla Motors will start to accept pre-orders for the Model 3. Tesla Model 3 is expected to have over 200 miles range and price tag of $35,000. The affordable Tesla is supposed to be the car that will scale Tesla Motors into a the spheres of established car makers. The Tesla Model 3 goes into production in 2017.

Tesla will unveil the Model 3 on March 31st at 8:30pm. There will be a live broadcast on the Tesla site. We expect Elon Musk personally unveiling the Model 3.

The reservation for the Model 3 begins at the same time world-wide. A Model 3 reservation requires a $1,000 deposit. To get an early start customers can visit a Tesla Motors shop in the morning of March 31 to make the reservation.

The typical thing to do ahead of a big event is to do a Google site search. Usually it's a waste of time, but this time something surfaced. Tesla has already published a single-page Model 3 Reservation Agreement on the Tesla Motors site.

You can already read ahead of the reservation what you will be signing. There are no secrets in the document. It just keeps Tesla out of any liabilities. It also states that the $1,000 reservation fee is fully refundable.

So in case Elon Musk's divorce messes up the Model 3 production schedule, you can anytime get your money back.
