With the new found collaboration, Huawei and Leica have decided to pay homage to smartphone photography.

Since the Huawei P9 is the very next to come from the company, it is known that it will be equipped with the Leica co-developed camera.

This was announced at the annual meeting of Huawei by its Deputy Chairman, Guo Ping.

He said, “We are going to launch our P9 flagship phone very soon and this is a product that we worked with Leica to produce.”

With the leaks of the P9’s back already showing the dual camera assembly, the news has made headlines only because Leica has also joined them along.

The company though has revealed that the phone would be having a lens with f/2.2 aperture and a focal length of 27mm.

It shall be really worth of being distinguished amongst all. It is for sure that Huawei shall be benefiting greatly from this venture and the camera lens shall be really profound.

Huawei P9 will be announced on April 6 and with the likes of LG G5, Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge it is surely going to have a tough time in the market.
