Taylor received the award from one of her icons Justin Timberlake and proceeded to thank her boyfriend whom she had to come home to during her tour.

It was another great night for Taylor Swift at the iHeart Music Awards which took place this Sunday night. The night was celebrated with the best performances and honouring the best artists this past year.

One of the biggest wins of the night was of course Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour which sold out at every venue, featured special stars throughout, one of who was the announcer to present Taylor her award. Her own pop icon, Justin Timberlake.

Justin Timberlake came out on stage and started off with a political joke that was received lightly and then he turned to telling the stats of Taylor’s career which were pretty impressive especially the 250 awards that Taylor has won to date and which Justin deemed a mathematical impossibility.

He then announced Taylor’s name as the winner of the Best Tour award and Taylor made her way to the stage to receive the award. After giving Justin a heartfelt hug she turned to give her speech.

Dazzling in a black sequined outfit, Taylor thanked all the people who had made the tour great and the fans. She also gave a special thanks to her boyfriend Calvin Harris.

In her speech, Taylor said that for the first time ever, she had an amazing person to go to when the crowds all went away and the spotlight was off. She thanked Calvin by his real first name Adam. She credited him with the support that she had had throughout the tour.

She then went down the stage and hugged Calvin Harris or as she like to call him Adam Wiles. This was not the only win for Taylor at the awards. She also won the Best Female Artist Award beating Selena Gomez and Adele who were nominated in the same category.
