Gibson is Back with Bang in Blood Father as an Angry Ex-Con
 

Blood Father’s trailer has been released. The film’s trailer is promising and Gibson is badass in action.

Icon Film released the first trailer of Blood Father and it is a visual-treat for Gibson’s fans to watch him in an action thriller after a long time. Mel Gibson is playing a role of ex-con who comes to his daughter’s rescue.

Erin Moriarty plays Gibson’s daughter in the Blood Father while William H. Macy and Elisabeth Rohm co-star in the film. Blood Father is directed by French filmmaker Jean-François Richet and the script of movie is written by Peter Craig.

Blood Father’s trailer shows Gibson, a tattoo artist, who gets into a spat with some drug dealers who have taken issue with his estranged daughter.

The official synopsis for Blood Father is reveals following plot:

“After her drug kingpin boyfriend frames her for stealing a fortune in cartel cash, 18 year old Lydia goes on the run, with only one ally in this whole wide world: her perennial screw-up of a dad, John Link, who’s been a drunk, a drug addict, a motorcycle outlaw, and a convict in his time, and now is determined to keep his little girl from harm and, for once in his life, do the right thing.”

Icon Film has not announced an official U.S. release date of Blood Father yet. The film could coincide with the film’s Australian release on Aug. 25.
