Watch Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them New Teaser Trailer
  • Fans Get a Look at The Exclusive ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’ at the MTV Movie Awards

Eddie Redmayne presented an exclusive look at the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at the MTV Movie Awards.

So much emotions for all the Muggle fans around the world who have still got a vested interest in the magical world. Last night brought us back to the edge of the Wizarding World that the Harry Potter fans have witnessed over the course of seven books and eight movies.

It was a happy news for all Harry Potter fans when Warner Bros. announced that they are producing a spin-off from one of the course books featured in the series and written by author J.K. Rowling for comic relief. The screenplay for the movie has been written by Rowling herself and we got a glimpse of the cast and sets along with a teaser earlier this year.

Nothing, however, compared to when this Sunday night, Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne walked out onstage during the MTV Movie Awards to present an exclusive trailer for Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them in which he is playing the main role of the magizoologist Newt Scamander.

The trailer started with the iconic Warner Bros. logo. We see Scamander sitting on a ship headed to 1926 New York while a voice over calls him an interesting man, just like his suitcase and we see little hands trying to open the side of the case.

The voice states that they’re interesting because there is something more to them than meets the eye. We find out that Newt was kicked out of Hogwarts for endangering human life.

There was one teacher who objected to his expulsion. The very beloved Professor Albus Dumbledore whom we know as a patron of cases like Scamander, another example is Hagrid of course.

We see a porter asking questions from him at the port and he set his case to Muggle Worthy setting so when the porter opens the case, he sees normal packed stuff and earns a nervous look from Newt when he asks him if he has any livestock.

We then see a montage of the New York magical world which is very similar to the London magical world with the golden gilded staircases and moving pictures in newspapers, alleys and doorways in brick walls, Shaw for President Ceremony and the No-Maj (Muggles in American) Jacob being amazed by witnessing magic.

We get a look at the cast including, Katherine Waterston as Tina, Dan Fogler as Jacob, Alison Sudol as Tina's sister, Queenie, Ezra Miller as Credence, Samantha Morton as Mary Lou, Jon Voight as Henry Shaw, Sr., Ron Perlman as Gnarlack, Carmen Ejogo as Seraphina; Jenn Murray as Chastity, young newcomer Faith Wood-Blagrove as Modesty, and Colin Farrell as Auror Percival Graves who is tasked with finding Newt Scamander and according to Graves, no human could do what Scamander is capable of.

In the ending minutes, Newt gets up, opens his briefcase and climbs down in it while Jacob looks in awe, he is then beckoned by Newt to follow him in the suitcase. Those who know Harry Potter will know that this is the same spell Hermione used on her little purse in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Undetectable Extension Charm.

The movie has reunited David Heyman, producer of the Harry Potter franchise, David Yates who directed the last four Harry Potter movies and J.K. Rowling in her debut as a screen writer along with Steve Klovesand Lionel Wigram.

The film has been filmed at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, which was home to the Harry Potter films for a decade. Some scenes were also shot on location in Liverpool, England. The movie is set to release on 18th November, 2016.
