  • Chris Evans says Marvel Should Keep on Doing Their Thing.

Chris Evans said in a press conference that nothing compared to what Marvel was doing and everything Marvel was doing cannot be copied by any other.

As the release date for Captain America: Civil War comes closer, we have seen the cast and crew promoting the movie at a wider scale. In a press conference held on Sunday, the cast was divided into two groups including Team Cap and Team Iron Man, not sure if it was a publicity stunt or a genuine maximum cast attendance issue but Chris Evans addressed all matters simply while talking.

Chris Evans who plays Captain America said that there was no way that Marvel should seize what they are doing right now. He may have been answering to the rumors that Marvel might soon be coming to an end seeing that all the hero franchises including Thor, Iron Man, Captain America and even The Avengers are up for their last one or two movies.

Chris said that Marvel should not be limited to the superhero box and they should keep on doing what they are currently doing. He said that he would have agreed that Marvel should close shop if they were only making good movies. They are however making great movies and they should continue to do so in the future.

According to Variety, he added that Marvel has achieved supremacy in their genre and no matter how hard any other banner might try, they could never copy Marvel’s style. This might have been an intended pun at towards the brand new Batman vs. Superman which is already dropping on the box office.

Anthony Russo supported Chris’s statement by saying that Marvel Universe was expanding and as more and more actors have joined the cast, it is the proof that Marvel is something everyone wants to be a part of.

Talking about the movie, he said that so many actors had joined that they had to split the panel. He said that adding character like Spider Man and Ant Man who had no baggage and commitment like the Avengers had just adds another great layer to what we can expect from the upcoming Captain Amercia: Civil War which will release on May 6th.
