Apple's 'iPhone 7' Will Ditch Headphone Jack For Lightning EarPods

There had already been an awful lot of rumors and leaks for the much anticipated iPhone 7, but a new report regarding the Bluetooth EarPods has sprung up again. The first picture of the phone’s back was revealed a month back, but a new claim through the Japanese blog Macotakara came in this Wednesday.

It said that this real case was assembled by Apple’s manufacturing counterpart Catcher Technology which has three dots at the very bottom indicating the Smart Connector port feature for the phone.

This feature was introduced in the iPad Pro earlier where it was exclusively used as a keyboard accessory. There have also been speculations regarding the phone having an upper left dual camera setup that is followed by a small rise.

This could imply that Apple is planning to do away with the back camera bump in its next flagship device. The Japanese blog also claims that the legendary 3.5 mm head jack shall also be done away with, since Apple is already working on Lightning Port chargeable Bluetooth Earpods.

This has been speculated because the Apple Pencil in iPad Pro already gets charged through the same Lightning port. Next, it is also being said that the company shall be selling wireless Bluetooth EarPods in the market whereas the iPhone 7 packaged box shall contain wired EarPods that shall connect through the Lightning port too.

Moreover, it is also quite possible that the iPad Pro’s True Tone automatic color adjustment technology shall also be featured in the iPhone 7 along with two top sensors whose usage remains yet unknown.

Coming to the end, it is also being said that both the iPhone 7 as well as the iPhone 7 Plus shall have the same size as that of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus and that Apple has no intentions to go smaller than the 5.5 and 4.7 inch screens.

Well, there is not much time left to know which rumors are going to be true and which shall be false since the iPhone release is nearing its usual September expected launch with its usual price estimated at $649 just like the last flagship release.
