Robert Downey Jr. will be coming back to screens for Marvel far sooner than many of us have thought. Civil War hasn't even been released yet, but the people involved are already scrambling to get involved with other Avengers movies. There have been a ton of movies released already, and even more will be released in the next few years, and the details keep pouring in.

However, the newest details will have fans excited and upset all at the same time. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Iron Man will be partnering up with Spider-Man.

According to numerous sources, the relationship between Spider-Man and Iron Man will be one that is nuanced and special as the seasoned superhero (Iron Man) brings Spiderman into the world of the avengers. This mentor-apprentice relationship will likely be a central theme of the Homecoming movie.

There haven't been any other leaks as to who else will be involved from the world of the Avengers, but there will probably be cameos from some other friends.

In other Spider-Man news, it was recently confirmed by Borys Kit from The Hollywood Reporter that Michael Keaton, who had been in talks to star as the villain, will in fact not be joining the project. It isn’t clear why, but it has been said that the money they would spend on all of these stars is likely one of the reasons they decided not to go that route.
