The last installment of the Resident Evil franchise will be in theaters in the United States in January of 2017. Japanese fans can already see the movie in December of 2016.

Milla Jovovich is back as Alice in the last Resident Evil movie. Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will be in theaters in the United States on January 27, 2017. Japanese Resident Evil fans can already see Resident Evil: The Final Chapter on December 23, 2016. Japan will be the first country the last Resident Evil movie is shown.

There is no trailer yet for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Filming was already underway about half a year ago. Milla Jovovich has published several Instagrams from the set showing her quite beat up.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is written and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson. The 6th part in the Resident Evil series is set to be the sequel to Resident Evil: Retribution (2012). Besides Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts, Iain Glen, Ruby Rose, William Levy, Eoin Macken, and Lee Joon-gi have been confirmed as cast.

40-year-old Milla Jovovich still got it to reprise Alice judging from the photos shared from the set. Alice returns to Raccoon City where it all began to fight against the Umbrella Corporation. She will join forces again with old friends to save humankind from the undead.
