X-Men: Apocalypse Final Trailer Released: Watch
  • The Final Trailer for X-Men Apocalypse released with Major Wow Moments

The last trailer for the X Men Apocalypse movie reveals more about the characters, has a lighter side and gives the audience a glimpse of a much beloved character.

So the release of X-Men Apocalypse is the only thing people are going to be talking about post Captain America Civil War. However, amid the rave and the spirit of a much fueled press tour for the Cap, 20th Century Fox felt like it was a great time to remind people of all the great things that will be in the next and last installment of the First Class trilogy, X Men Apocalypse.

The studio released the final trailer for the movie which is just one month prior to its release. Containing some of the older trailer footage and some new, the final trailer is by far and probably the most exciting one. This trailer is a little elaborate in panning out the scenes and characters a little bit more.

The trailer starts with the iconic plaque of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters where Professor X played by James McAvoy says that things are better and the world is better.

We see Raven/Mystique is standing in the hallway and then we see her reply that just because there is not a war doesn’t mean that there is peace. He’s coming and then we hear sirens in the distance while we revisit Moira’s introduction t apocalypse and we see Oscar Issac turning into the blue skinned original mutant Apocalypse.

According to Moira, he has been amassing mutants to take their power. We get a detailed look at his four Horsemen including Storm, Angel, Psylocke and Magneto in combat mode. Professor X pleas with Erik to not join them but he is told that whatever it was Charles had seen in him, he had buried it with his family.

And then Apocalypse claims that they will cleanse the Earth, and everything they (humans) have built will fall while we see major landmarks around the world vaporizing while he declares that from the ashes of the destroyed world, they will build a better one.

We see Charles eyeballs turning black while he’s wearing the helmet and says that he had not felt so much power before and then we see Apocalypse pulling a Alice in Wonderland re-size on him and beating him to a pulp before kidnapping him. Enter Scott/Beast and Raven as he tells her that the world needs the X Men.

She tells him that she is no hero. Scott replies that the children look up to her. She then informs him that she is going to teach the kids how to fight. We get a glimpse at a young Nightcrawler who is impressed with her. We get to see Quicksilver once more who makes the startling revelation that Magneto is his father.

Apparently Raven is shocked as well and he tries to explain to how that happened. Young Cyclops tells her that they cannot control their powers and tells them not to. Que the shots of all characters in fight mode and some kick ass fight scenes and some cool stunts while Raven gives her speech to forget everything they know because none of that matters. They are not students anymore, they’re X Men.

At the very end, she comes in to see Scott and Jean surrounded by Apocalypse army lying dead and Scott tells her that they had a little help. That is then we catch a glimpse of an arm and the iconic three adiantimum blades and we know that those rumors about Wolverine being in Apocalypse might be true.

It was a trailer worth watching and has definitely raised expectations and anticipation among audience.

X-Men: Apocalypse will hit theaters on May 27th.
