The 2016 installment of the Call of Duty franchise is likely called Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. A reddit user spotted an entry in a list of the PlayStation store that said "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."

The name is not bad and could be real. At the same time retail documents leaked that hint at the imminent announcement of the new 2016 Call of Duty game. The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be listed at retailers by May 3 according to a document posted on Twitter by Jim Sterling (Via IGN).

The timing is right for the Call of Duty 2016 game announcement. Activision is usually this time of the year to announce the new COD game.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, if this is the final name, is developed by Infinity Ward. The studio also developed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Last year's Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was developed by Treyarch.
