DC Comic is making a leap of faith and hard work as they announced upcoming projects with the Warner Bros. backing. The studios and DC announced an array of movies based on the iconic DC Universe heroes including Superman, Batman, Flash, Aquaman and Wonder Woman.

These characters are confirmed in this year’s DC release Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Batman did hint that he will get the band together to fight.

DC has hinted that the upcoming movies will be about that including the Wonder Woman movie scheduled to release in 2017 and Justice League Part One due to release in 2018 is already in production.

So the next DC Universe hero that we hope to see is the scarlet speedster, The Flash. We have already seen the casting choice for Barry Allen/ Flash in the DC movies which is Ezra Miller (Perks of Being a Wallflower). The movie is scheduled to release on March 16th, 2018.

It was a great production just waiting to happen until the news of the film’s assigned director Seth Grahame-Smith blew all over the internet. Having penned movies like Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, he also penned the script for The Flash movie along with Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.

He was set to make his directorial debut with The Flash but due to some creative differences, Grahame-Smith decided to leave the project, reported THR. The Warner Bros. have to think about the hit TV series based on the superhero and make the movie around those expectations.

While Grahame-Smith has left the project, his script for the movie is still being used as the studio look for a new director that could work with the script and the studio.
