Mariana Trench Secrets Revealed
  • A Alien Jellyfish has been Seen in Close Proximity to the Mariana Trench

A strange and weird jellyfish has been seen in Enigma Seamount near the Mariana Trench.

Scientists are a bunch of passionate people who are interested in what they do to the point where they enter a state of flow. Nowadays, when they discover some new aspect of reality they tend to put it on display online for all to see. A recent example of this is the scenery of the Mariana Trench which has been placed on live feed for curious amateur science fans.

This live feed is to remain intact till July 10th. The really exciting thing is that anytime the experiment could yield something new in the marine environment.

For the fact of the matter is that we have yet to find out more about more than 99% of the 1 trillion species on our planet. New animals turn up at every corner. So the chances of finding a new species is pretty high given the sheer numbers of these unknown animals.

A crazy jellyfish was spotted off the Mariana Trench recently by researchers from the NOAA’s ship Okeanos Explorer. This strange jellyfish belongs to the genus Crossota and is known to be a wanderer.

It keeps going from here to there and back from its conception to its death. It is also most probably an ambush predator. Its gestures show such to be the case. The main body of the jellyfish remains static while its tentacles are outspread ready to catch any prey that comes its way.

As for the bright yellow spheres beneath the main body of the jellyfish, they are its reproductive organs. Meanwhile, its classification will take a long time to reach completion. The marine rover just bumped into this bizarre jellyfish.

Also during the rover’s peregrinations, a Field of Balls was discovered. It was actually a large group of amoebas. More animal species will be discovered with the passage of time.

The inner workings of the Mariana Trench are going to be caught on camera. Among the creatures that were spotted may be included a purple sea cucumber and then there was the pillow lava.

The Mariana Trench is an absolutely fascinating place to explore for missing species. It will take some time before the full gamut of creatures are known and classified in accordance with the scientific principles.
