Third party Facebook app for Apple Watch

Using one’s Apple Watch for socializing might not be a good idea but, that hasn’t stopped many from making such attempts. Facebook hasn’t officially attempted the same for an iOS app for Apple’s limited hardware Watch, but other parties have surely taken the leap of faith here.

The app namely, LittleBook is available for download from the App Store for as little as $2.99 according to iTunes website and brings Facebook to the Apple Watch for the first time. It is however important to see that despite the hardware limitations, the effort is not bad at all.

The irritating limitations are not much of a problem such as there is no ‘Read more’ option for posts and Facebook videos might play but YouTube video won’t play after all. There are also no Reactions that were recently provided to Facebook as an update but there are photos options fully in line with the watch and you can like whatever you desire, right from your Apple Watch while it can also save articles to be later read by your iPhone or laptop too.

All things considered, for anyone who wants to browse through Facebook, like statuses, watch videos and photos and like them too, upload their own status, shall be really glad about the Littlebook app even if Facebook doesn’t like it.

It has also been known that the reason for Apple Watches to go down over time is also because of Facebook’s absence from the Watch. These speculations might sound absurd since a wrist is no place to be social but for those who do want to be social everywhere, this app is worth a look definitely because $2.99 isn’t much of a cost either.
