New leaked iPhone 7 CAD files show big protruding camera lenses.

Contrary to earlier rumors, the iPhone 7 will not be flush on the rear panel. The camera lenses will stick out again as it does on the iPhone 6S. Leaker @OnLeaks has published what he says are factory CAD files of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

The good news is that the iPhone 7 Plus has a dual lens camera in the CAD drawing, while the iPhone 7 has a bigger lens than the iPhone 6S.

The overall design is similar to the iPhone 6S. The CAD drawing is not showing the antenna lines.

It is almost save to say that the iPhone 7 will be only slightly different from the iPhone 6S. The 10th anniversary iPhone coming in 2017 is likely to blame for this, as I have outlined earlier this week.

The 2017 iPhone is likely not being called iPhone 7S, but will have its own major number. Rumors say the 10th anniversary iPhone adopts a glass design and for the first time an OLED display.

Apple is also expected to make the iPhone 7 waterproof and dustproof. The iPhone 7 will debut in September.

OnLeaks teases a 3D animation video of the iPhone 7 based on the leaked factory CAD data for today.
