Emma Roberts and Dave Franco go the ultimate mile in the new trailer for the movie Nerve.

It’s all about the nerves and all kinds of nerves. It’s not a medical drama but the expression of nerve that we use, all incorporated in the trailer for the new movie titled Nerve.

From the directing duo Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman comes the movie based on Jeanne Ryan’s 2012 YA novel of the same title, Nerve is basically a cyber game in similar to truth and dare only the truth part is void and the “watchers” in the game give the task to person who accepts the dare.

Vee played by Emma Roberts as a person who has always played it safe and thinks that the game is stupid. Her friends confront her with the truth that she is cowardly and has to show some nerve and daring and the obvious way to do that is to accept the dare from the game.

Her first dare to kiss a stranger gets her mouth to mouth action with Ian played by Dave Franco who also happens to be playing the game and the watchers pair them up to embark on a dare filled journey throughout the city where they first participate in small dares like getting a tattoo and raiding a clothing store but when things start to get out of hand, Vee tries to solicit the help of a ploice officer who refuses her directly.

She asks Ian what will happen if they pull out and he says they lose everything and literally everything because Vee finds out from her mother that all their money is gone and the “watchers” have stolen their identities. Ian concludes that the only way to get everything back is by winning the game. They start to do all the dares which eventually brings them face to face in a ring where Vee is equipped with a gun and most people can guess what the dare is.

A little like Hunger Games but in a totally present world thrilling way, the movie is set to hit theatres on July 27.
