  • BMW’s Futuristic Vehicle of 2021 will be a Self-Driven Flagship Electric Car

The all-new hybrid, electric car that will be released by BMW in 2021 will be self-driven.

The new vehicles that will be released by the year 2021 by BMW have created a lot of hype lately. These cars are regarded as the ones that will bring out a totally new era for flagship vehicles. Most of these cars will be hybrid and have a fully electrical mode.

BMW’s CEO Harald Krueger said (via RoadandTrack) that the flagship car released in 2021 is the new key to the future. This self-driven luxury Sedan will be available for sale in the mid of 2021 by the company.

CEO Krueger said that this car will be able to drive through most of the places without any assistance required. This car will be much closer to the BMW Next 100 concept car that is due to arrive in a few years’ time. This BMW iNEXT brand is supposed to make a great impact on the car market.

BMW is planning to update its i8 range as well. It will showcase lower curb weight, a faster version, and driving range of various types for drivers. The “I” brand of BMW was launched in the year 2013.

Since then 50,000 vehicles of this category have been sold by the company. However, it looks like BMW is going to lose its rank of number one luxury car provider.

Mercedes has sold more luxury cars than any other brand this year. The reason that Mercedes was able to sell more units was the decrease in prices of its cars.

BMW will have to ensure quality production along with new features at a reasonable price as other brands like Tesla and Volvo are also producing great cars at low prices. Thus this creates quite some competition for BMW.
