Vernee Apollo Lite Goes On Sale June 1

Chinese startup Vernee will start taking orders for their 2nd smartphone on June 1.

Vernee announced today to begin the pre-sale for the Vernee Apollo Lite smartphone on June 1 for $229.99. The Apollo Lite is a stripped down version of the Vernee Apollo scheduled to be released in July. "Lite" is a bit misleading as the Apollo Lite is a high-performance Android smartphone.

Features of the Vernee Apollo Lite include MediaTek X20 10-core CPU, 5.5-inch FHD full HD Sharp IGZO screen, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, 16MP Samsung camera, 5MP front camera, 3,180mAh battery, Type-C port, Pump Express 3.0 quick charging, Fingerprint sensor and dual SIM.

Pump Express 3.0 delivers 1 hour call time with a 5 minute charge on the Apollo Lite.

The Vernee Thor smartphone went on sale in April and received over 20,000 pre-orders. The feature packed Apollo Lite is set to pass that number. Vernee's flagship smartphone will retail for $399.99 and exceed the Lite with MediaTek X25 CPU, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

We expect the Vernee Apollo Lite to be available world-wide like the Thor through Vernee's retail partners.
