Kanye West is actually doing something pretty cool amidst all of his random outbursts and complaining on Twitter. During his recent outburst on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the designer said that he wants to work with Payless because he thinks too many kids are being bullied because they can't afford sneakers. Payless is a discount shoe brand that has paired with other designers to produce affordable footwear.

Of course, it is kind of confusing as to whether or not Kanye knows what he is getting himself into. His line is pretty expensive, with Yeezy shoes costing $200 a pop, if you can get them, $3,000 jackets, and weird shirts that cost as much as rent in some places.

It is all a far cry from what 'Ye is boasting, according to People StyleWatch.

Here's what he said on Ellen: "I remember going to school in 5th grade and wanting to have a cool outfit. I called the head of Payless. I’m like, I want to work with you. I want to take all this information that I’ve learned from sitting at all these fashion shows and knocking on all these doors and buying all these expensive clothes. And I want to take away bullying."

In the end, Kanye has really great intentions with this idea. There hasn't been a confirmation that it would happen, but there have been reports that Payless and Kanye have had a conversation. The CEO of Payless, Paul Jones, has not commented on whether or not a partnership will happen, but it is likely that it could happen.
