The real world Iron Man has time to crack a joke about a CNN story.

SpaceX and Tesla Motors founder Elon Musk is on a roll lately with his statements. First he explains that we life in a simulation. The he destroys the stock value of Samsung SDI by confirming that only Panasonic makes the batteries for the Tesla Model 3. He also put out one of his ambitious schedules on the table last week. He plans to send the first SpaceX rocket to Mars in 2018.

With all that Elon Musk has going on, he still has time to read what the media writes about him. CNN reported that Elon Musk met the Secretary of Defense Ash Carter on Wednesday. The headline asked the question "What was Elon Musk doing at the Pentagon?"

Elon Musk gave the answer in a Tweet: "Something about a flying metal suit...," referring to superhero Iron Man. The great aspect of this answer is that it could be true too. We just don't know what bold ideas are still inside Elon Musk, just think HyperLoop.

The Pentagon is on a mission to up its technology game. A spokesperson said that the department has been reaching out to a number of members of the technology community to get their ideas, their feedback, find out what's going on in the world of innovation.

Elon Musk's SpaceX is already working with the defense department, the meeting with Ash sounds though more to be a brainstorm session.
