Sirin Labs Solarin Super Secure Smartphone Uses CrucialTec's Biometric TrackPad

The $14,000 Android phone uses CrucialTec's Biometric TrackPad.

Sirin Labs is developing the most expensive smartphone and it is not decked out in diamonds, rather it is super secure. The Solarin Android smartphone sells for $13,800 plus taxes.

The Solarin smartphone is supposed to offer complete privacy with military grade security. The Sirin Labs Solarin phone incorporates the most advanced privacy technology, currently unavailable outside the agency world. Sirin Labs partnered with KoolSpan to integrate chip-to-chip 256-bit AES encryption, the same technology that militaries around the world use to protect their communications, offering the strongest possible mobile privacy protection worldwide.

CrucialTec revealed that the Solarin smartphone is using their Fingerprint sensor technology. “Although demands for Solarin is small as it is a product for people such as high-ranking executives, fund managers, celebrities and others who are extremely sensitive towards their personal information, it has world’s best security system.” said a representative for CrucialTec to Korea Times. “Fact that Solarin has CrucialTec’s BTP modules and algorithms shows a direct example that our technical skills and stability are recognized worldwide.”

Solarin is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with X10 LTE and Wi-Fi, delivering high-performance connectivity. It offers up to 450 Mbps downlink and up to 150 Mbps uplink speeds, coupled with support for 24 bands LTE compatibility, setting a new benchmark in global usability. Solarin comes with far superior Wi-Fi connectivity than mainstream phones.

It supports 802.11ac 2x2 MU-MIMO technology, offering up to three times the speed and capacity of conventional 1x1 configuration. In addition, Solarin incorporates revolutionary WiGigTM (802.11ad) multi-gigabit Wi-Fi technology. WiGigTM (802.11ad) offers speeds of up to 4.6Gbps, enabling near-instant cloud access, and synching of photos, videos and media, wire-equivalent docking and high-quality, low-latency video streaming, and more.

Add to this the strongest battery in the premium and high end phone category, together with Qualcomm Quick Charge for fast charging and power optimization algorithms to create the essential travel companion.

Featuring a 23.8-megapixel camera, with laser autofocus and industry-leading four-tone flash, plus a front facing flash and 5.5” IPS LED 2k resolution screen, Solarin offers a display capable of color that is distinct, pure and rich, 120% sRGB color gamut. The beam forming audio and state-of-the-art sound system uses three bass- boosted speakers, all linked through a smart amplifier to maximize volume but control distortion, producing a clear unsullied sound.

At least the technology specifications are top of the line, at this price this is anyway assumed.
