Microsoft will unveil a new more powerful XBox One at the E3 2016 media event today. Images and specs of the Xbox One S have leaked.

Microsoft just can't keep a secret. The rumored Xbox Scorpio has leaked online complete with images and key specifications. The Xbox One S is according to the leaked web page sleeker, slimmer and sharper. The Xbox One S is 40% smaller than the current Xbox One and comes with a 2TB HDD, 4K Ultra HD Video, HDR, streamlined controller and vertical stand.

The leaked Xbox One S images on NeoGaf show a white console. If there will be a black version of the Xbox One S is not known yet. The new Xbox One S looks good. The big question is the price. The Xbox One S 2TB is likely coming in around a $400 price.

Update: Xbox One S might not be Xbox Scorpio. New rumors say the new Xbox One S is selling for just for $300. This would mean this new Xbox One is not more powerful in regards to game play. We will find out in a moment.

Update 2: Confirmed. The Xbox One S starts at $299 and will ship in August.

Microsoft is likely offering smaller HDD configurations at a lower price as well. There are no details yet on weather the Xbox One S works with the Oculus Rift VR headset as rumored earlier.

Sony knew that Microsoft will announce a new Xbox One at the E3 2016 and preemptively confirmed that the Sony PlayStation Neo is real and coming this Fall.

Microsoft will officially unveil the Xbox One S at the E3 2016 media event at 9:30am PDT.
