J.K. Rowling offers heartfelt condolences for the young ride operator in Orlando Harry Potter theme World.

The shooting at Orlando is a shocking tragedy. No one could have anticipated that almost fifty people would lose their lives. While fifty more are still fighting for their lives. As the days unfold, we find out more and more about the lives of the victims.

As it turns out that one of the 22 years old victim was Luis Vielma. Luis worked on The Forbidden Journey ride in the Universal Harry Potter theme park in Orlando. He had been working there for over a year. It was devastating for J.K. Rowling to find out that one of the Potterheads have been in the tragedy.

Harry Potter have been supportive of equality since the start. Such great values have been generated from the mind of the author herself. So it was really painful for her to learn that one Harry Potter’s had fallen in the tragedy.

In a heartfelt tweet, she wrote, Luis Vielma worked on the Harry Potter ride at Universal. He was 22 years old. I can't stop crying. #Orlando. Following her tweet, Luis’ colleagues and people who had met him started to send tweets in. Many people who had met him in the park had nothing but nice things to say about him. J.K. Rowling sent all her love and prayers to Luis family and hoped they would pull through their loss.

One of Luis’ colleagues also informed her that Luis was a Gryffindor she would have been proud of. He then told her that another colleague and friend, who is a Slytherin, Tony is injured and struggling for his life in the hospital. Rowling also sent a prayer for Tony in a few minutes saying she hoped he recovers.
