The New Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Will Only Have A Dual Curved Screen Variant

We expected that a flat Galaxy Note would be made available. Tech journalists added fuel to our hopes with their reports that a flat Note 7 was under production, but all reports coming out of Korea say otherwise.

Our first indication that this was not going to happen was when a European Samsung Galaxy Note 7 model number was leaked and was not flat. However to solidify that there will be no flat Samsung Galaxy Note 7 or a Galaxy Note 7 edge, we have further proof.

Samsung’s new strategy is to increase profits not the market share and therefore it sees no need to launch a flat screen version of the phone according to sources in Korea. The decision taken by Samsung to proceed with the Galaxy Note 7 edge instead of coming up with a flat alternative will result in huge profits for Samsung as well as promote the new trend which is gaining popularity.

The Korean based company is promoting that edge is “the new flat”. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 edge provides an all-round smartphone experience where you not only have access to your newsfeed, app shortcuts etc. but are also able to write onscreen.

The edge is more user friendly as it is easier to hold and makes phone calls more comfortable as it is also easier to put against the ear. Samsung has big surprises up its sleeves and it’s saving it for the new Galaxy which is expected to come with drastic improvements and new features.

We will be hearing an official announcement for the Galaxy Note 7 on the 2nd of August in New York City but the mass production will commence in July. But in any case it is time to ditch all hopes of a flat variant.
