Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Teases Nissan IDX Concept for Furious 8
  • “Furious 8” to Showcase Nissan IDX Concept

The short lived concept car Nissan IDX will be seen in the new Fast and Furious movie.

Last weekend Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock uploaded a video on Instagram. In this video he showed many cars that will be shown in the “Furious 8”.

The amazing thing about the video was that it showed so many amazing cars in the same place. These cars included the Nissan IDX concept that was introduced once, but was pretty short lived.

Vin Diesel also shared a teaser poster earlier this year. It was revealed then that this new movie will be released on April 14, 2017. The caption of the poster said “New Roads Ahead”. This might mean a new direction for the movie story and cars to come in the movie.

The Rock shared the video this weekend in which he boasted about the cars being used in the movie. He said that he was pretty thankful for the amazing fans of the movie that have proven to be really supportive.

He later on counted the cars and named them for the viewers. He said that one of them is a $2 million Nissan prototype (which actually is the Nissan IDX concept), a Rolls Royce, an O.G, Lamborghinis, and Biscayne. He showed all these cars in his video while walking in the garage.

The Nissan IDX concept car is the same which was released by Nissan in the year 2013. It is a rear drive, pretty and sporty coupe. It was supposed to rival with Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ.

However the model could not see the light of production and was shelved. This Furious movie will surely bring this concept car on the screen. We are pretty enthusiastic to see this little viper to play tricks on screen.
