Rumor has it that Universal Pictures is trying to fix The Rock in the Wolfman Movie.

Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock is a pretty busy man these days. He is filming for many movies at the time as he has many contracts up his sleeves. These days, he is filming for his movie Furious 8 which will be released next year in April.

However we have heard that Universal Pictures is approaching The Rock for a new project too. They are looking for him to fill the lead role in their upcoming Wolfman movie. For this reason they are trying to get into talks with the actor.

Deadline reported that it might get difficult for Universal Pictures to cast him as he is heading for another project with Sony. It was reported that Johnson might be working as an executive producer for Sony Pictures movie Son of Shaolin. It will be a Kung Fu themed film.

Aaron Guzikowski who wrote Prisoners is going to write Wolfman too. Noah Hawley who was the executive producer of Fargo is going to be writing another movie from the series too. This other movie might be The Invisible Man, it will star Johnny Depp.

Son of Shaolin which is the next project of Dwayne Johnson is a movie based on a graphic novel by Longino. It is said that he might act in the movie too along with producing it. The other executive producers of this movie include Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, and Ryan Kalil.

His latest movie Central Intelligence is in theaters these days. He is starring opposite Kevin Hart in this movie. This movie is produced by New Line Cinema.
