The 4-day Best Buy 4th of July sale kicked off on the Best Buy online store.

The 4th of July Holiday is on Monday. The long weekend is one of the biggest sales events of the year. The Best Buy 4th of July Sale is a 4-day event that kicked off this morning.

The Best Buy sale offers up to 40% off major appliances and up to 25% off select 4K Ultra HD TVs.

Best Buy offers the Samsung Galaxy S7 on contract for $99.99 including a wireless charger. The 15.6-inch Asus Q524UQ 2-in-1 touch-screen laptop with Core i7 CPU sells fro $949.99, saving $100.

A 43-inch Toshiba HDTV is on sale for $199.99 and the 55-inch Samsung UN55KU7000FXZA 4K UHD TV sells for $999.99, saving $400.

The 15.6-inch Asus VivoBook X540SA budget laptop sells for $249.99.

Best Buy offers the LG G5 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with free $200 gift cards. The price of the LG G5 on contract is just $1. The Galaxy Note 5 is discounted to $49.99 on contract. Keep in mind that Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy Note 7 in August.

Savings on the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are $100 on contract, starting at $99.99.

Xbox One deals save up to $50 depending on the model. Best Buy throws in a free Xbox One controller with purchase on top of the savings during the 4th of July weekend.

Available only today in the Best Buy online store is a $149.99 39-inch Insignia HDTV.

The best 4th of July deals offered by Best Buy are on smartphones offering the biggest savings. A $200 gift card on top of discounts is enticing offer.

The discounts on most TVs and lapto are a tad too modest.

Amazon will kick off the the countdown sale to the Amazon Prime Day 2016 on July 5. If you do not find a great deal this weekend, you have another chance in the second Amazon Prime Day Sale.

The Prime Day deals will be harder to score than the 4th of July deals at Best Buy, but the savings will be incredible high on select TVs. Amazon announced that they will offer twice as many TV deals than on Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined.
