Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas Pay Tribute to Orlando Victims with Andra Day

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas join Andra Day in Tampa, Florida to pay tribute to the victims of the Orlando shooting victims.

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are currently on route their 'Future Now Tour' of North America. They have been advertising their tour for quite some time and they performed in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, 2nd July.

Among their handful of performances, they invited Andra Day to join them onstage for a beautiful rendition of “Rise Up”. They performed the song to tribute to the victims of the Pulse club shooting in Orlando on June 12th.

The singers and friends gave the people from Pulse free passes for the concert and also got them a special suite for the show as reported by TMZ (via US Weekly). The employees of Pulse thanked the stars and resolved to move ahead from the hate crime that had caused so much pain.

The song was also a tribute to the late singer, Christina Grimmie who was shot and died in Orlando as well. Nick praised and thanked Orlando for supporting them. Demi thanked Tampa on her Instagram.

The stars were spotted in Chicago on Sunday where the performed in a free concert. The concert was reported to be a rehearsal for the annual Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular.

Both Nick and Demi gave their all during the performances. Demi paid tribute to Prince with her own rendition of “Purple Rain” and followed with her own songs, Cool for the Summer and Confident.

Nick performed his songs Chains, Jealous and Close during his set. The Fourth of July celebration will include the traditional performance by the Boston Pops Orchestra driving home the fireworks finale to Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. The actual event will happen on Monday with the musical event starting at 9 p.m.
