Uber is going to work with Nevada in order to avoid risks of Drunk Driving during this year’s Independence Day with a special feature.

Uber which is known for its ride sharing features have joined hands with Nevada this year in order to avoid any accidents due to drunk driving on the July 4th weekend. The company will provide free and discounted rides to people in order to prevent any mishap.

Uber in collaboration with Zero Fatalities Awareness Campaign, which will continue from June 30 to July 5th will offer a discounted offer. The users will be able to use Uber codes in order to avail a discount for rides offered by the company. Discount up to $15 is being offered in these codes. Along with these, the people opting for this service will get a free ride of first $15.

Other than that Uber is also participating in Mothers against Drunk Driving Event. In this campaign each ride made by any passenger will contribute $5 from the rent.

According to MR, $1 will also be given to the cause during the campaign from the rides as well. Uber’s participation in such events will bring an awareness about drunk driving and safe driving in holidays. Along with that it is said that it will actually save people from injuries and casualties in many cases.

This kind of solution is really easy to prevent drunk driving. This kind of affordable, positive and reliable solution will actually make people lean on the safer choices instead of taking risks.

This is the reason Uber has decided to join this campaign. With this kind of facility people will be able to enjoy a drink, get pleasure from different activities and will not have to worry about getting home safe as Uber and Nevada will help them.
