Mercedes-Benz might be on for a competition with Tesla S.

Tesla is known for its perfect electric cars that have gotten recognition all over the world. After Tesla, many other companies are launching many cars which are fully electric or at least partially electric (hybrid).

Mercedes-Benz has finally set its foot into this dimension as well. The company is going to produce the fastest electric car ever produced. This car is claiming to have the best range offered yet as compared to any other company.

Tesla model S provides a ride up to 500 km in a single charge however Mercedes EV is claiming to do more. Its price will be something between $150,000 and $200,000.

According to the CEO of Mercedes, it is very hard to build an EV, but it is far more difficult to sell one as well. According to Mercedes CEO, they are here to do a good business of EV. According to Motoring, he said that they do not know if they will be able to do better or will actually threat Tesla.

The CEO McCarthy said that the price of Mercedes EV’s price will be like that of Tesla however, it’s Mercedes that we are talking about and people do go after a big name like this. So this can certainly become a problem for Tesla in the long run.

The new Mercedes EV won’t be seen until the year 2018. This car will be introduced after better solutions of the power storage and battery pods are available in Australia.

Tesla has done a great job in introducing a unique concept of transportation and then selling it. Mercedes will surely have to do a lot in order to get better ratings and better sales than Tesla.
