Pokemon Go 1.0.1 Update Fixes Crucial Bugs

Niantic LAbs has released the first update for Pokemon Go. Get it now to fix important bugs.

The first Pokemon Go update is here for iOS. This update focuses on making Pokemon Go more stable and secure.

As reported, Pokemon Go had full access to your Google account. This was a mistake and not intended. The new update fixes that issue and some other bugs that caused Pokemon Go to crash.

The Pokemon Go update brings the following improvements:

- Trainers do not to have to enter their username and password repeatedly after a force log out

- Added stability to Pokémon Trainer Club account log-in process

- Resolved issues causing crashes

- Fixed Google account scope

To get the first Pokemon Go update, check the updates section the app store. The first update has the version Pokemon Go 1.0.1.

The Pokemon Go app on Android has not been updated. The Pokemon Go app in the Google Play store is still dated July 5.

The Pokemon Go game gone viral with gamers in the United States overloading the server infrastructure. The rollout to Europe and Asia had to be put on hold. It will be few days until the rollout of Pokemon Go continues according to sources.
