Several cases of distracted driving have been reported due to Pokémon Go.

Every other person is playing Pokémon Go and talking about it as well. It is the new sensation in gaming area and an unexpected but huge profit launch for Nintendo. People have been seen catching their Pokémon in their streets and neighborhoods. However many researches have shown that Pokémon Go is actually causing many problems for the players too.

First of all the major problem that was mentioned by Nation Highway Traffic Safety Administration is distracted driving, according to AutoBlog.They have warned people that they are actually not paying much attention on the road as they have their attention diverted in order to catch the Pokémon of their choice. As it has been observed that people are more focused on capturing the Pokémon other than driving.

This problem can cause many accidents if people don’t take any look into it. Somebody posted a twitter photo that had a Pokémon siting on the steering wheel of car. This kind of picture depicts the way people can get distracted while this game is being played by them. Another figure stated that most of the people who are likely to play this game fall in the age range of 18-30 years. This is the peak age when drastic accidents occur in the lives of young drivers. If these drivers are provided with a distracting agent then the likelihood of getting caught in a road accident can increase by ten folds.

Pokémon go is certainly becoming the sensation for everyone. However it has caused many problems along with loads of pleasure too. This week the first car crash was reported in New York when a driver crashed while playing Pokémon Go on his mobile phone.
