One Pokemon Go enthusiast slammed his car into a Baltimore police car while he was playing the game on Monday, according to a report and a video from their Twitter:

The video comes from a body-camera video that was released by the Baltimore Police Department. You can see several other officers standing near a police car as the Toyota Rav 4 hits the cruiser and then continues down the street.

You can see an officer run after the vehicle, which does stop near the end of the block. The driver then gets out of the car and offers his cell phone to police.

“That’s what I get for playing this dumb--- game,” the man says to the officers.

Pokemon Go has reportedly led to a few different car accidents, but this is the first one like this. The goal of the game is to catch animated figures. While it has been contentious, it has also been used to get people outside and make them active.

Baltimore Police spokesman T.J. Smith said at a press conference this week that this wasn't the first incident in Baltimore. People have had their phones stolen while playing and others have gotten hurt.

"Way too many people have their heads buried in their phones trying to catch a Pokemon, and the criminals are catching them,” Smith said.

He did say that no one has seriously been injured, but people have to be careful.

"This is no different than texting and driving, changing a CD, putting on makeup or eating a sandwich," he said. "You have to pay attention while driving."
