A new lamp breaks into the spot light. It looks cool and is packed with features. Of course there is an app for it.

The Halos lamp is shaped as a ring. It rests and recharges on a block of wood. You can take it anywhere and it even sticks to mirrors and windows through a special resine material. The surface of the Halos light is covered with thousands minisuction cups that grip on tight to nonporous surfaces.

Halos is controlled by touch and there is an app that can transform Halos in a wake-up lamp. The stylish portable light is crafted in Italy. The battery holds for 2 to 4 hours. The Halos lamp has a brightness of 500lm using LEDs.

“Our goal? Make our life easier resolving annoying circumstances we face in our daily life. We have worked hard in the past year to create an innovative multifunctional lamp with a fresh design” says Stefano Filipello, project manager and founder of Halos. Stefano left Google to work on Halos.

Halos will be available on Kickstarter in September at a price between 200€ ($220) and 250€ ($275) (retail price will be 350€ ($384)).

The Halos lamp is a stylish addition for your home that offers versatile lighting options, where ever you need it.

You can follow the Halos development team on Facebook until the Kickstarter launches.
