The Gigafactory is already incredibly huge, but it will be even bigger as three walls are just temporarily and can be moved.

Tesla has given a group of journalists early access to the Gigafactory on Tuesday. The numbers describing the size of the battery plant are out of this world. The current size is 1.9 million square feet. This has been built and Tesla workers are already making batteries for the Tesla Power Wall. The plant is though design to be increased in size as needed.

Three walls of the Gigafactory can be moved, enabling Tesla to increase the footprint of the Gigafactory to 10 million Sq. feet fully built out. The current Gigafactory is only a 5th of what the full-size Gigafactory will be.

The Gigafactory is paid for by the sales of the Model X and the Model S said Elon Musk. There is also a "mild" capital raise coming explained Musk to the journalists touring the Gigafactory for the first time. Elon Musk is still confident that the cost of EV batteries will drop to $100 kWh by 2020.

There are not just one floor, but three. The scale is mind-numbing. CNBC's Phil LeBeau had one of the first video reports out from inside the Gigafactory. He also has a bunch of great Tweets with photos. See them below.
