Pokémon Go Plus Launch Delayed Till September
  • Launch of Pokemon Go Plus Wearable procrastinated for Two Months

The launch of Pokemon Go Plus wearable has been procrastinated for two months. It will probably come on the scene with a bang in September.

Pokemon Go Plus is the wearable accessory for Pokemon Go. It is a cool gadget whose launch has been delayed till September of this year. The company made this announcement on Twitter today.

Nintendo originally meant to showcase the accessory towards the end of July. As for the game, which launched earlier this month, it is free of cost.

Nintendo refused to give a specific reason for this launch delay. One reason that is being touted as the main cause for the delay is that the phenomenal popularity of Pokemon Go led to Nintendo going into overdrive in order to make even more units.

It thus needed some extra time in order to manufacture enough units. While the production factory is Niantic Labs, Nintendo is marketing the devices.

The Pokemon Go Plus wearable is in synch with the Android and iOS versions of Pokemon Go . It has a price tag of $34.99. People may play the game without the usage of their smartphones thanks to this accessory.

This Bluetooth unit can be worn as a pin or with a wrist strap. It seems where Pokemon Go is concerned, delays are the norm due to the extreme pressure from the public to get a chance to play the game.

Many otherwise prosperous and large nations do not have access to the game. China is one behemoth that comes to mind. The trio of Niantic, Nintendo and the Pokemon Company have done a good job on this one.

Currently, Pokemon Go has surpassed the 75 million download mark on a global level. This is a huge number for such a small game. The sponsors for this game include McDonalds in Japan. It is a very popular game that is the craze in the developed parts of the world.
