Volkswagen is going to add particulate filters in new gas engines.

The diesel emission scandal has uprooted VW from its esteemed place in market for the long run. Customers are feeling deceived due to the cheating which was done on the part of company on diesel emission scandal.

However now a days VW is doing everything in its control to gain the trust back from its customers. For this purpose the automaker is going on lengths in order to reduce emission in all of its engines in cars. The company is looking for latest technology and is developing new kits in order to reduce and control emission from all sorts of engines.

Now Volkswagen will be using special particulate filters in new gas engines to control emission. According to the company, this filter will have the capability to reduce the emission of engine by 90 percent and will also make sure that emitted substance is filtered before indulging in atmospheres.

Dr. Ulrich Eichhorn, Head of Group Research and Development: "Following increases in efficiency and lower CO2 output, we are now bringing about a sustained reduction in the emission levels of our modern petrol engines by fitting particulate filters as standard."

Well it looks like the company is trying pretty hard to make the engines environmental friendly. This is the only way they will be able to survive the market pressure. They might be able to gain the lost trust of their loyal customers by doing these steps too.

These particulate filters will be added to new 2017 Audi A5 and gas-powered VW Tiguan. It looks like this technology is liked by other companies as well.

As Bentley will be using this technology in its gas engine cars as well. It is regarded that it will reduce the emission considerable and will also be developed for petrol engines. This will help the automakers to attain a minimum emission policy in non-electric cars.

The filters will be used in Audi and Tiguan but it is just the matter of time when this technology will be used in other models too.
