Heres what is new in iOS beta 4

Apple recently released a new update for its iOS 10 beta. The iOS 10 beta 4 has seen some minor tweaks and has gained a lot of popularity with developers and the common public alike. Here is a quick look at all the changes.

Haptic Feedback for Manual Lock Has Been Removed

Introduced with the iOS 10 beta 3, the hepatic feedback which is used when an iPhone or iPad was manually locked by pressing the power button has been turned off. It has been removed from the iOS 10 beta 4 for the time being. Although it is possible that it might make its way back in time for the final release this September but at this moment we had to say goodbye to the feature albeit reluctantly.

100 New Emojis

Apple who has always been a big fan of emoji’s has introduced 100 new emoji with this new beta release which include new emoji for diversity as well as gender equality.

New Keyboard Sound

There is a new keyboard sound which we hope sticks around.

Faster Folder Animations

The whole iOS feels a lot faster thanks to folders which open and close al lot more quickly.

Control Center Splash Page

A new splash page graces the Control Centre now.

Wallpapers shouldn’t be at the top of Apple’s priority at the moment but a few iOS wallpapers have been discarded and an old wallpaper from iOS 8 days has made a comeback.

Date Widget

We don’t have to worry about opening up the colander app to check on what day it is as the date widget has returned to its rightful place within the Notification Centre/Lock screen widget area as first released in beta 1 for iOS 10.

Minor UI Tweaks

Changes have been made to the Control Centre icon for the Home app in addition to using colored pencils instead of the color grid within Accessibility > Color Filters.

There have been no major changes and in our opinion Apple should spend its time fixing bugs within the iOS 10 instead of adding and removing features.
