Suicide Squad enters the credit scene game with a little one on one with Bruce Wayne and Amanda Waller.

Marvel definitely defined how to make end credit scenes work with some of the most iconic and predicting end credit scenes. From the Avengers, to Captain America to Guardians of the Galaxy, the end credit scenes keep the audience plastered to their chairs. Not everyone appreciates it however, having to sit till the end of credits which are long and get really tiring just to see a few seconds of the scene.

DC seems to have found the right time to give the audience a credit scene. Zack Snyder gave it a try earlier this year by posting a spoiler-ish type of clip a few days after the theatrical release of the movie. It did not have the same effect as a credit scene.

So DC and David Ayer might have decided to insert a peak at the interval of the credits. That’s right, just after the explosive preliminary credits come to an end and start to fade into the technical side of the credits, we are treated to a ‘mid-credit’ scene.

The scene itself makes a lot of sense between the two most calculating characters in the DC Universe. Bruce Wayne and Amanda Waller sitting in a restaurant and striking a deal.

In the scene, Waller asks for Wayne’s help to sweep the Suicide Squad incidence under the rug seeing that he was the person who had originally put most of the Suicide Squad behind bars in the first place. He asks for something in return.

He asks Waller for all the government information on Aquaman and The Flash, the heroes he willed out to find after he saw them in Lex Luthor’s files in Batman vs. Superman Dawn of Justice.

We saw the trailer for the first Justice League movie this Comic Con and it makes perfect sense now regarding how Bruce found both the heroes. Waller asks him what he needs with the files after handing them to him.

He replies that he wants to make some friends. She also makes her intentions known that she is just looking to create leverage. On a farewell note, she tells him to stop working at nights.

He tells her to shut it down or he and his friends will. So we are seeing that Waller-Wayne are a professional relationship who know each other’s activities.

Also, the Suicide Squad has not ended yet. Waller might have more antics up her sleeve which the Justice League might have to shut down in the future.

There is a lot of hints given in this mid credit scene and it leads right up to the Justice League. It helps link the Dawn of Justice events with the Suicide Squad events leading up to Justice League events.

Many people are complaining that it is not hinting at Wonder Woman which is the next movie from the DC Universe but it is an origin story and might also lead to the events of Justice League. Keeping our fingers crossed, we hope for a future cohesion in the DC Universe movies.
