Olympic Swimmer will get assistance from BMW’s new system.

BMW is going to introduce an LED based tracking system on the swimmer’s body in order to provide guidance to swimmers. The project will cost loads but will be really helpful for the swimmers. The team U.S.A has partnered up with BMW in order to make their swimmer perform better in the event of Olympics.

The technology is supposed to improve the performance of swimmers by making them scrutinize their performance while swimming. The LED lights that are put on a BMW cars will be used on the limbs of swimmers. These lights will help in the analyzation of all the kicks and pulls that will be subjected while swimming.

According to Russel Mark, who is the coach of USA swimming, they are looking for a cutting edge technique by looking at this facility.

According to Bloomberg, he said that the information gathered from the system will help greatly in order to improve the performance of players. The information will lead to better understanding of muscles flexing and producing the better angles of body in order to achieve optimum performance.

The technology which is designed and introduced by BMW is not really cheap. It will cost as much as a 30-second-prime time advertisement. The cost of these LEDs will be around $300,000 to $600,000. According to the head of BMW, it is a small price to way in order to get the optimum performance of players.

The software being used by the company was introduced a year ago in Sochi 2014 winter games. This year BMW has upgraded the system and has introduced it again. US team has managed to gain 18 medal in the swimming games. Out of these 18, seven are gold medals. This can be a great achievement if it is related to new technology.
