Little Austria in the heart of Europe is finally getting an Apple Store according to newspaper reports.

Vienna, the capital of Austria, is getting an Apple Store in the famous Kaerntner Strasse reports Austrian newspaper DerStandard. The Kaerntner Strasse connects the St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Opera. The street is home to luxury brand stores and big brands. On average 60,000 people walk through the street every day.

The Apple Store is supposed to replace the Esprit Fashion Store, the fashion brand is moving out. Apple did not comment on the report. It is also unclear if the Vienna Apple Store would be an Apple owned store, or if a retail partner is operating it.

Austrian Apple fans had to travel to Munich in Bavaria, if they wanted to pick up a new iPhone on release day. Soon they should be able to do that in Vienna. For the iPhone 7 launch, Austrian Apple fans still have to go to Munich for the full Apple Store experience.
