The European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) recently held its annual Best Mobile Device Awards.

The best European Consumer Smartphone for the 2016-2017 season went to Huawei P9.

The award went to Huawei’s P8 last year and apparently other phones in the category couldn’t come up to par with the innovative, beautifully designed, powerful pone that Huawei manufactured.

CoolPad which costs €200 and is 5.5” smartphone was the jury’s favorite for the European Budget Smartphone for this season.

The innovation award went to LG G5 for its bold design and the best Smartphone Camera award went to Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

HTC 10 became The European Advanced Product thanks to its 5.2" IPS Quad HD screen as well as the Snapdragon 820 chip which came with 4GB of RAM, a 12MP UltraPixel OIS camera, a 3,000 mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0, and 24-bit hi-res audio support.

HTC Vive became the best VR headset while the best EU wearable went to Garmin Fenix 3 HR.

It seems as if most of our favorite smartphone brands were able to snag an award in one or another category.
