  • Volkswagen is all set to Challenge Tesla with a 300 Miles EV

The Paris Motors Show will showcase a 300 EV prototype by VW.

Volkswagen is doing everything in its means to earn its repute back after the diesel emission scandal. This is the reason that the automaker has drifted towards zero emission modules of transport as well.

The company is rigorously working on its new Electric vehicles that are supposed to come in a few years. It looks like that with the prototype of a new all electric vehicle VW is all on to threat the Tesla motors.

The new prototype will be showcased in this year’s Paris Motor Show. This is the prototype of 300 miles car, which is something that Tesla has to achieve yet.

According to the CEO of VW the new EVs launched by company will have range as far as 400-600 kilometers which equals 248-372 miles, according to AutoBlog via Electrek.

The new batteries used in the cars will make sure that they get to the 300 miles mark in an easy way. This is actually a pretty impressive number on part of Volkswagen.

It is said that the car which will be showcased in Paris motor show will be a small sized one with great leg space. We are hoping it to be of the size of Golf but with the cargo space of Passat.

This car might go on sale in 2018 or 2019. With VW’s new zero emission strategy, this is the best way to make a mark in the market.

We are hoping that If VW continues with this kind of strategy then soon its diesel scandal will be forgotten however until then the company will have to work pretty hard.
