  • Aston Martin AM-RB 001 Hypercar to get Semi-Active Suspension

The new Aston Martin AM-RB 001 is about to get semi-active suspension.

Aston Martin and Red bull are working on the new Aston Martin AM-RB 001. Both of these companies are looking forward to bring the concept of an excellent hypercar. We have gotten the news that this Aston Martin AM-RB 001 is going to get a semi-active suspension in the future.

Red Bull is recruiting technology experts and engineers from all over the world in order to bring about the best car development that is possible for this project. Aston Martin is working along The Milton Keynes Company that is working on the design of this car. Its design was revealed for the first time in July.

Red Bull Advanced Technologies are looking for individuals who are expert in the field and will make sure that this hyper car is up to the given standards of Aston Martin. The engineers being recruited by RBAT are the ones that have maximum knowledge and experience related to semi-active suspension.

Aston Martin did not provide an official word on this kind of suspension, according to AutoCar. However we know that they are trying to bring forward innovative ideas. Any car with an adjustable suspension will be worth around 2-3 million pounds especially if it’s going to be a hypercar.

The full active suspension systems in car are the best replacement to the standard hydraulic controls. They are easily adjusted and use electronically adjusted dampers. Along with that they are cheaper and tend to consume less power too.

Active suspension is outlawed in F1. However Red Bull is certainly looking for semi suspension for its hyper car. This is the reason they are on to hire people who have immaculate knowledge of hybridization and drivetrain integration.
