Google highlights new personalization features, more emoji, Multi-window feature, better battery management and support for Vulkan (an advanced 3D rendering API) and Daydream (Google’s platform for mobile virtual reality). Android Nougat is also the most secure Android release to date.

Nexus owners get the benefits of the Nougat starting today. When Samsung and others are rolling out Android Nougat and to which devices is not announced yet.

The LG V20 will be the first new smartphone that ships with Android Nougat, right out of the box.
