The Galaxy Note 7 lost to the year old iPhone 6S in a speed test and performed rather dismally in comparison to the older iPhone.

The test had a bunch of same apps opening, loading and closing on both the Galaxy Note 7 and the iPhone 6S simultaneously.

The whole process time is recorded and then repeated. The Note 7 wasn’t able to keep up with the iPhone and started lagging behind the iPhone as the test continued.

By the end the in the time the Note 7 was completing one round its competitor had finished two rounds.

The results don’t bode well for the Note 7 because all the games and apps used in the speed test are those which we would commonly like to see in our smartphones.

It gives us a lot to ponder over the performance of other Android phones if a device as powerful as the Note 7 did so badly.

But another reason for this poor performance could be the lack of focus Samsung gives to optimizing its software so that it is up to par with the hardware.

Under these circumstances, if you require speed and performance to be key features of your smartphones then the iPhone is a much better choice.
