  • Seat Ateca Cupra being launched in 2017?

A faster version of Seat Ateca Cupra is considered by the company.

We are getting the news of finding a fast Seat Ateca Cupra in town in the coming year. We might see the company trying to expand the range of its SUVs to fit the overall auto market of SUVs.

The standard Ateca which was released earlier is on sale now. It will be joined by its smaller version of SUV in the next year too. Then there is news that we will be seeing a seven-seater SUV version of Ateca in the year 2020 as well. The company is looking at different options to increase the demand and reach of their brand.

The Ateca is Seat’s most sold out car. With the addition of Seat Ateca Cupra, the Cupra will become the most expensive car offered by the company. The Ateca will be offered at a price of 35,000 pounds while Cupra will be expensive than this one.

The SUV market is changing on a really fast pace and we can certainly see that many companies have started working towards the change as well. We are now seeing faster, more studier SUVs than ever before.

Along with that we are also seeing hybrid and electric SUVs too. AutoCar sources have suggested that this Cupra will get an extensive styling that will make it look much pretty. Other than that it will get some high powertrain under the hood.

We are expecting a 286bhp, 2.0 liter petrol engine which is also used in Leon Cupra by the company. In the four-wheel drive we are expecting a 269bhp engine that will have the capacity to go 0-62moh in just 6.5 secs. Thus this new Seat Ateca Cupra will be a faster SUV. We are expecting the car to be launched in year 2017.
