Self-driving Car by Uber has been spotted being driven on the streets of city.

Last week, the famous cab organization Uber, announced that they will start the trail of self-driving cars later this month. We were expecting the car to come in the start of September, however it looks like Uber has already set the trail in motion.

The self-driving car of Uber was spotted today in Pittsburg and we have gotten the first picture of it especially for you.

Halen Rosner spotted the new self-driving Uber car on the streets of Pittsburgh. It had the Uber logo all over it and a number of sensors were attached on the roof of his car too.

So the sensors gave the clear cut indication that it isn’t the simple Uber cab that you are used to ride. It is something far better than that. The sensors clearly represent that this car is gathering data from around while it’s being driven.

According to BGR, this car looks like that of Ford Fusion, which is one of the autonomous cars by the company. New Ford models have semi self-driving functions in them too.

They use radar system, sensors and cameras fitted in them in order to make the self-driving work. The semi self-driving is pretty much similar to Tesla’s Autopilot mode.

Uber on the other hand is looking forward to bring about an autonomous car that is of stage two. Thus it will be needing loads of tech to achieve that.

The picture shows that the LIDAR system is mounted on top of his Uber car. The LIDAR system is the most advanced and precise system till now used for self-driving technology. Uber is trying to bring about a ride sharing experience in which the need of drivers will be lessened.
