Glossy Black iPhone 7 Leaks
The 5 colors of the iPhone 7

The iPhone 7 comes in 5 colors with one difficult decision.

The color option of the new iPhone are a big topic this year in the leaks and rumors surrounding the iPhone 7. We have seen reports and leaks of a dark blue iPhone 7 as well as a darker space grey. Japanese Apple blog Macotakara brings now a new color option into play that could turn out to be my choice if it is really coming - Glossy Black.

Macotakara supports their report with a photo showing five alleged iPhone 7 SIM trays. The colors present are glossy black, silver, the new darker space gray, rose gold and gold.

A glossy black body would meld with the black glass front of the iPhone 7 and recreate the look of the iconic black iPhone 5. The iPhone 7 would just appear as a single homogenous black thing like the monolith from the Sci-fi Space Odyssey.

The antenna lines that are now moved to the edges are hopefully black as well in the glossy black iPhone 7 model.

Apple has confirmed an Apple media event on September 7 in the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. It is widely believed that Apple will unveil the new iPhone 7 along with the Apple Watch 2.

The iPhone 7 is expected to be in stores and start to ship on September 16.
