Pretty Little Liars creator Marlene King and the cast announced that the mysterious teen drama will end after season 7.
It’s been six long seasons of lies, deception, blackmail, hot romances and heartbreaking moments. Five friends/allies have survived through all of that and it will be one more time that they will be doing it.

That’s right folks, the favourite drama is finally coming to an end as the network and the creator Marlene King announced that the upcoming seventh season will be the show’s last.
The creator/producer/writer Marlene King has been vague about the possibility of an eighth season for the show. The cast of the show has also been teasing the fans since long.
That is why they might have felt that it was fair to sit down in a Facebook Live chat and make the announcement. In the video, Marlene King is front and centre flanked by Lucy Hale and Troian Bellasario with Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse sitting in the back.
Marlene takes that lead saying hi and saying that they were happy that fans were joining them because they were all there to make a special announcement.
She said that it makes them all kind of sad but happy to be sharing it with the fans at the same time. She then proceeded to say that after the summer finale of the sixth season which is awesome, the next ten episodes of the show will be its last.
This made the girls moan with sadness as they shared looks. Troian said that they were saying goodbye and Marlene agreed. Marlene announced that PLL: Endgame begins on April, 2017.
She asked the cast how they felt about that. Sasha summed it up as ‘bittersweet’ and everyone agreed. Ashley added that they were excited for the premiere though.
Lucy told Variety that it has been an amazing chapter of their lives and she was glad that the fans shared it with them. She said that all good things must come to an end. She also revealed that the last ten episodes are pretty crazy. They will be answering all the questions.
We do hope so. The PLL summer finale airs Tuesday 8 p.m. ET/PT on Freeform, and the final 10 episodes will air in April 2017, when you can start using the hashtag "#PLLendgame." The finale will be a "two-hour special event," said King.
